I'm not sure that anything in the world says "Summertime" more to me than family portraits on the beach! I always get so excited to work with families who love the salt air and sunshine as much as I do. This sweet family from Missouri was such a joy to work with! They'd traveled up to New England for a self-guided tour of the cities I love so much and decided to meet me in Rhode Island for new family photos. We wound up having a GORGEOUS night for a sunset session. The sunset was unreal and these four were so much fun.

One of my favorite parts of their session has to be their outfits! These two sweet girls had the most fun, summery dresses in peach and navy and their parents coordinated perfectly. Outfits don't have to be identical matches to work well together in your portraits. Like the M family, you can pick a color scheme and find something unique for every member of the family. It creates really unique and fun patterns in your final portraits! 

To the M Family, thank you for working with me for your beach portraits! I absolutely loved getting to know you and watching your girls splash in the water. There's nothing that fills my heart more than seeing another family enjoy our beautiful beaches in the summertime. I feel so honored I got to work with you to create these gorgeous, once-in-a-lifetime portraits with you!
